For many experience-based businesses, invoicing sits outside the booking system.
Guest payments are processed in one platform, while invoices are created in another. This leads to more manual work: exporting booking data, re-entering guest details, and reconciling payments with accounting records.
Bookinglayer includes built-in invoicing, so invoices can be created directly from your booking data. For businesses that use external accounting software, booking data can also be connected to the different platforms, keeping financial records aligned without manual handling.
Invoice Directly from Bookinglayer
Managing invoices across separate tools creates reconciliation work that grows with every booking. Bookinglayer includes built-in invoicing, so invoices are generated from the same booking data you are already working with, no exports or re-entry required.
You can choose how and when invoices are created: manually from a booking page, or automatically based on arrival date, departure date, booking confirmation, or payment status. Invoices are generated in the full booking amount and reflect the guest details, booking value, and taxes already captured in the booking.
Once closed, invoices can be attached to emails and sent to guests directly from the Backoffice, or made visible to bookers in the Customer Portal under the Payments tab.
Connect Your Booking System with Your Accounting Software
For businesses that need to align booking invoices with external accounting records, Bookinglayer also integrates with several accounting and invoicing platforms. This allows invoices and financial data to flow from your booking operations into your preferred accounting environment without manual handling.
For operators running accommodation, activities, or multi-day experiences, this connection helps reduce manual data entry, prevents discrepancies between bookings and invoices, and simplifies reconciliation.
Supported Invoicing Integrations
Bookinglayer integrates with several widely used accounting and invoicing tools. This allows businesses to continue using their preferred financial software while connecting it directly to their booking system. Learn more about our invoicing integrations below.
Xero

Connect Bookings, Payments, and Invoicing
Experience-based businesses often manage accommodation, activities, rentals, and payments within a single booking flow. Connecting that operational data with accounting software helps ensure financial records reflect the full scope of bookings being processed.
By integrating with accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, InvoiceXpress, and Fatture in Cloud, Bookinglayer serves as a booking system that connects reservations, payments, and invoicing within a consistent workflow.
