Collecting payments from guests should be simple, no matter where your business operates.
That’s why Bookinglayer integrates with Xendit, a leading payment gateway supporting businesses in Southeast Asia. Xendit enables companies to accept a wide range of local payment methods, including bank transfers, e-wallets, cards, and QR payments via a single integration.
Last month, we updated our integration with Xendit, expanding support beyond Indonesia to help businesses accept payments across more of Southeast Asia.
Today, Bookinglayer clients can use Xendit to take payments in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
This allows retreats, surf camps, wellness centers, and travel businesses to accept and process payments using the payment methods that work best in their location.
Why Local Payment Methods Matter
Payment systems vary widely across Southeast Asia, and many businesses rely on methods beyond traditional credit cards. Local bank transfers, virtual accounts, and digital wallets are commonly used across the region.
With Bookinglayer’s Xendit integration, businesses can accept and process these local payment methods directly within their booking system. This also allows companies to accept payments in their local currency, which may not always be supported by international payment gateways.
This makes it easier for businesses to handle payments in a way that best suits where they operate.
How the Xendit Integration Works
Once connected, Xendit appears as a payment gateway in your Bookinglayer payment form. Guests can select their preferred payment method during checkout, and successful payments are automatically registered in the booking.
This means:
Payments are linked directly to the booking
Transactions are tracked in your Bookinglayer backoffice
Your team spends less time reconciling payments manually
A Better Payment Experience for Regional Businesses
For operators running experiences across Southeast Asia, offering the right payment methods can make a big difference in guest conversion and the time your team spends on admin.
By combining Bookinglayer’s booking management tools with Xendit’s regional payment infrastructure, businesses throughout Southeast Asia can process payments easily.
If you’re interested in enabling Xendit in your Bookinglayer account, you can follow our step-by-step setup guide in the Help Center.
